Have you ever turned up to a game and the ref didn’t show? Have you ever thought, I’d liked to help out but need to know more about the rules and be more confident before you step in?

An opportunity to learn more about soccer rules and role of referee is now available through a level 4 referee course at the Club.

The Club has organised 5 out of 22 places for women from our Club aged 13 and above interested in enrolling in the course. If you are a female player, coach, member or parent/supporter interested in this course please contact secretary@yarravilleglory.com.au by 25 June to register your interest.

To undertake this training program you must be 13 years of age and over and successfully passed the online laws of the game within the past two years.

This training program is aimed at match officials officiating in junior and youth matches.

The program consist of theory modules, practical sessions and practical mentoring in matches as a referee and assistant referee. Upon completion of all components referees will be officially qualified as a Level 4 Referee. The qualification is valid for a period of up to 4 years.
